Two More February 2010 Paintings

I saw this picture in an old Country Ideals magazine and liked it.

It is painted on 7 x 10 Waterford 200 lb Paper and matted and framed
to 14 x 17 old wooden frame.

I'm asking $80 with matting and frame. Copies are available upon request.




















After I finished painting this in class the lady next to me asked if I was selling it and when I said I was she bought it.

First of February 2010 Paintings

Hope Hollow is a camp for children with disabilities and I am the President of the Ladies Auxiliary. The logo for the camp is the dragonfly and I thought I would try and paint a couple dragon flies. This is one of them.

It is painted on 11 x 9 Waterford 200 lb Paper and matted and framed in black.

I thought this was a fun picture I found of a dragonfly. I donated it to Hope Hollow for a silent auction. It was painted on a 8 x 10 canvas with watercolor.

On my way to Hope Hollow Camp, I pass by this stable and I look at it everytime I go out there. In January I painted this on a full sheet of watercolor paper and framed it but then I wanted to paint it again. This time it is a little different. You can see the first on in my January Paintings when I post them.

Last of March 2010 Paintings

I painted this in class from a picture my teacher used in a workshop I was attending. I didn't finish the workshop because I fell while out at lunch and ended up in the hospital. So I did it during class.

It is on 200 lb 8 x 12 Waterford Paper and matted in black to fit a 12 x 16 frame. It has backing too.

Four Pieces Completed in March

This painting was taken from part of a picture in an old Country Ideals Magazine. It is on a 10 x 12 piece of Waterford Watercolor Paper 200 lbs and matted in black with backing for a frame size of 14 x 18.

The picture of this bird was in a Birds and Blooms Magazine I saw at my art class so thought I would try and paint it. I enjoy painting birds.

This painting was taken from the other half of the picture where the birdhouse above came from. I thought I would make this a little different with the size of the paper which is Waterford Paper 200 lbs and is 5 1/2 by 11 to fit a back mat for a frame size of 12 x 16.

At a workshop given by my Art Teacher, Diane Norman, and the same time I did another painting like this. This was the first one I painted. I may do a few more as I want to lean how to do waves and spashes.

This is my first posting of Artwork

This painting was done after a weeklong workshop in April by Janet Rogers and I was imspired to do something quickly. I wanted to do a painting I could make cards from and give to the ladies at a Mother Daughter Tea that I was the guest speaker.

This painting is taken from a picture I took of my hand and my husband while we were praying. We hold hands every morning while praying. It was taken during the winter so I am wrapped in a blanket and he is sitting next to me. It is a view I see everyday.
